Who is Jesus?
Climb aboard the Wonder Junction Express as we explore the biggest question of all—Who is Jesus?
Each night, kids will discover more about who Jesus is, what He did for us, and where He is now. Through fun lessons, music, and hands-on activities, they’ll marvel at God’s love and learn how to live for His glory.
Here’s the Deets
What is VBS? VBS, or Vacation Bible School, is a free event that churches put on annually during summer vacation, with a two-fold purpose: give kids a fun way to learn about Jesus, and give parents a bit of a break. It’s a winning combo!
What ages is this for? This VBS is for kids ages 4-12 (and potty-trained three year olds are also welcome.)
What do the kids do? Traditional VBS activities include a Bible lesson, arts and crafts, snacks, outdoor games, worship time, and a bit of silliness and fun. This year we will be diving into the life of Jesus, with a Wild West theme, a lot of fun decor and scenery, and probably more than a few cowboy hats and boots!
Do my kids need to bring anything? No, but kids are encouraged to dress up in cowboy hats, boots, or anything else that reminds them of the Wild West, if they would like to. We will be providing each kid with a colored bandana and nametag.
What about snacks? We will offer healthy snacks each night, Monday through Thursday. We will have hot dogs and hamburgers and sides on Friday for Family Fun Night.
Are you allergy friendly? Yes we are! No foods with peanuts, food dyes, or high fructose corn syrup will be served on Monday through Thursday. We are encouraging our volunteers who bring sides and desserts on Friday to do the same.
What’s this Family Fun Night thing? Our VBS will operate as you’d expect on Monday through Thursday: drop the kids off at 6, pick them up at 8:30. But on Friday we want parents to stay and have a good time, too! We will start with a short 25 minute assembly before we dive into food, fun, and facepainting.
